Aggregate delivery across Georgia
Free delivery across Georgia, including Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Macon and Savannah.
Stone commonly used in Georgia includes granite, gneiss and quartzite. Orders are delivered by dump truck to jobs from the Blue Ridge foothills, the Piedmont and the Chattahoochee River, with delivery included in the price.
Common projects here include GAB driveways, drainage through Georgia red clay and crawlspace pads. Georgia red clay sheds water badly and rutts under load when wet, so base thickness and compaction carry the driveway. Frost is effectively irrelevant. Frost goes to about 6 inches in Georgia, so plan base depth around it.
What we call it in Georgia
GAB (Graded Aggregate Base), Crusher Run, #57 Granite, Screenings, River Rock.
If your project follows an engineering or road-agency spec, compare it with the size and grading listed on each product page.

Most people arrive here with a patch of red clay in mind and one decision still open: does this job need stone that lets water through, or stone that holds still under a wheel? Almost everything else follows from that answer. Gravel delivery is arranged on this site by choosing a material, a quantity and a date, and the catalogue is grouped so that first decision narrows twenty four products down to two or three.
Is the stone meant to drain, or to sit still under a wheel?
Clay sheds a summer downpour off a slope fast, then holds whatever soaks in, which is why the same yard can be rock hard in August and soft enough to rut in February. Water jobs want stone with the fines washed out of it so the gaps between pieces stay open: #57 Granite behind a wall or in a French drain, Drain Rock along a trench or under a downspout run, #4 Crushed Stone where a lot of water has to keep moving through a heavy layer.
Bearing jobs want the opposite. GAB (Graded Aggregate Base) and Crusher Run both carry stone dust and fines all the way through the mix, and under a compactor those fines wedge into the gaps and lock the larger pieces together. Clean stone under a parking pad rolls and scatters. Crusher run in a drain trench packs tight and stops the trench draining. Graded aggregate base is how GDOT names the layer on a plan sheet rather than a grade this site certifies, so check the size and grading printed on the product page against your specification before ordering.
Which layer of the job am I buying today?
A drive, a patio or a path is rarely one material. Underneath sits the compacting layer, GAB or crusher run. Over the top of a drive goes a surface stone such as Driveway Gravel, graded to knit rather than scatter under tires. A garden route takes the finer Walkway Gravel. Pavers and flagstone want a thin bedding course of Screenings, the granite dust and fines that plenty of crews around here still call M10.
Decorative work sits apart from all of that. River Rock covers a bed with rounded stone that does not need refreshing every spring, and Large River Rock is the size that holds a dry creek bed together when a thunderstorm fills it.
Does the soil have to grow something, or just fill a hole?
This is the question that saves the most money on a soil order. Fill Dirt raises a low spot, backfills and builds a rough grade; it is not there to grow grass. Top Soil is screened and goes on last, in the upper few inches where roots actually live. Garden Soil carries compost and belongs in raised beds and planting holes. Shredded Mulch goes over the top of a finished bed and holds moisture through a Georgia August.
How many tons is that once compaction is counted?
Volume is the easy half. Weight is where orders go wrong, because two materials filling the identical hole can be five times apart in tonnage. The material calculators carry this site's own published weight for each product: roughly 2,800 lb a cubic yard for crushed stone and driveway gravel, roughly 3,000 lb for crusher run and graded aggregate base, roughly 600 lb for shredded mulch. Enter length and width in feet, depth in inches, leave the allowance box ticked, as it is by default (5%, or 10% on dirt, crusher run, road base and paver base), for anything you plan to compact, and read the cubic yards, tons and cubic feet together.
Layers get entered separately. A 4 inch base under a 2 inch surface is two calculations, not one 6 inch figure.
What happens after checkout when a gravel delivery is booked?
Delivery is arranged at checkout by ZIP code, and the date is chosen there alongside the quantity. The load arrives by dump truck and is tipped as a pile at the spot you nominate, and what the truck needs to reach it covers the route, the overhead clearance and marking the spot.
Worth running through before you order:
- Settle drainage or bearing first, then pick from the short list it leaves.
- Measure in feet, turn inches into decimals, and size each layer on its own.
- Strip turf and soft topsoil before any base layer goes down.
- Give the pile a firm, flat landing the truck can back up to.
- Flag anything awkward about the access through Contact before the order, not after.
The full list sits on the materials page, the questions that come up most often are already answered in the FAQ, and how this storefront operates covers what happens between checkout and the truck arriving.
